Which Car is Britain's best used Supermini? Answer: The Honda Jazz

The popular British built Honda Jazz has another accolade to add to its growing trophy cabinet - it has been named Britain’s Best Used Supermini by consumer champions Which?

The annual Which? Car Survey is the largest of its kind and results are based on good reliability and owner satisfaction, plus a high score in the Which? Car road test. Experts praised the Jazz’s class-leading space and versatility, bullet-proof reliability, strong resale values and the fact it’s easy and safe to drive. The results also took into account positive feedback from Jazz owners.

Richard Headland, Cars editor, Which? commented; 'Buyers looking for a nearly new supermini should make a beeline for the Jazz. Owners love its blend of class-leading interior space, smart looks and excellent reliability.

'It's sought-after second-hand, so not the cheapest choice, but you'll also find buyers willing to pay good money when you come to sell it later.'

This result follows hot on the heels of the Jazz’s success in the 2012 JD Power owner satisfaction survey where it remained the supermini category leader for an impressive ninth year running.

It has also reinforced Honda’s efforts to excel in customer satisfaction. The 2012 Warranty Direct study into the most dependable family-sized cars saw Honda dominate the top three with the Civic and Accord awarded second and third place respectively.

The Jazz is available with two snappy i-VTEC petrol engines – 1.2 and 1.4 – and Honda’s efficient hybrid IMA technology. The range is priced from £11,605 OTR for the entry level 1.2 S with the Hybrid variants starting at £16,300 OTR.
