Everything you need to know about the all-new Volkswagen ID.7

Joining the Volkswagen ID. family in the near future, is the ID.7. Unlike the other hatchback cars in the ID. range, the ID.7 is Volkswagens first all-electric saloon car, and it'll feature VW's longest electric range yet.

Upon first glance into the interior of the vehicle, the huge 15-inch infotainment system certainly stands out as an attractive feature. Volkswagen have improved on the previous systems built into the ID. range and have even added a host of innovations that are unique to the ID.7.

The new air-conditioning concept is particularly interesting, Volkswagen have created the ID.7 to detect when the driver is approaching the vehicle, and will automatically cool or heat the interior depending on the outside weather. Special requests can also be activated by voice, if a user says "Hello Volkswagen, my hands are cold", the vehicle will respond by activating the heated steering wheel function.

As of yet, Volkswagen haven't released any official pricing but we're expecting this model to be positioned above the existing ID.5, which starts at £50,000. This puts the ID.7 at the top of the company's line-up, but more on pricing is likely to be revealed later in 2023.
