A charity which cares for patients is on the road to success thanks to a generous donation from Kendal Honda. CancerCare, which has centres in Kendal and Lancaster, has been handed the keys to a brand new Honda Civic to help it raise support and awareness for its family support services in the area.
"It will really help support CancerCare and increase our presence in the local communities we serve," said CancerCare’s fundraising team leader, Jane Staniford.
The Queens Katherine Avenue car dealership donated the new 1.6-litre car to help its staff attend events, talks and presentations in the community. The charity now hopes to touch more lives than ever before. The dealership, run by Cox Motor Group, also branded the car with the charity’s name and logo.
