The MG4 EV is a fully electric hatchback that blends modern design, practical interior space and efficient electric driving. Built on MG’s innovative Modular Scalable Platform, it offers a dynamic driving experience with generous range and a spacious cabin for everyday use. Its striking exterior features aerodynamic styling with LED lighting and alloy wheels that give it a confident presence on UK roads.
The MG4 EV offers multiple battery choices to match range preferences. Standard Range versions deliver around 218 miles of WLTP electric range, while Long Range versions extend this to approximately 281 miles on a single charge. This flexibility allows drivers to tailor their MG4 EV to daily travel needs and longer trips without frequent charging.
The MG4 EV’s cabin combines modern technology with user-friendly design. It includes a 10.25″ colour touchscreen that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 7″ digital driver display, and wireless charging (on select trims). Connected features such as the MG iSMART app provide live services and enhanced connectivity for occupants on the move.
The MG4 EV comes equipped with the MG Pilot suite of advanced driver assistance systems. Standard safety features include Active Emergency Braking with Pedestrian and Bicycle Detection, Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keep Assist and Traffic Sign Recognition, helping boost confidence and safety across everyday driving. On higher trims, extras like Blind Spot Detection and Rear Cross Traffic Alert are also available.
The MG4 EV supports rapid DC charging of up to 135 kW, enabling the battery to charge from about 10 % to 80 % in around 35 minutes on compatible public chargers. Its battery packaging and long wheelbase create a roomy interior and generous boot space, making it practical for daily errands, commuting and weekend trips.
The MG4 EV stands out with its sleek and aerodynamic design, featuring LED headlights and rear lights, distinctive alloys and a twin aero rear spoiler on select trims. A range of colour options allows buyers to personalise the hatchback to suit individual tastes and preferences.
The MG4 EV offers a practical boot with around 363 litres of space with the rear seats in place, expanding to up to around 1,177 litres when the seats are folded. Thoughtful storage solutions throughout the cabin help keep items organised and accessible, enhancing usability for families and everyday life.
